Day 1 - Paris.  After a  prolonged travel day, we arrived at our hotel around 8 p.m. and checked in.  Th hotel's French-style B&B atmosphere was impressive.  Noah immediately went to sleep, while Jamie and I fought off exhaustion to explore the surrounding neighborhood, situated in the 17th arrondissement.  We dined at a charming cafe as the rain poured down, and I was thrilled to experience the quintessential Parisian rain. 

Day 2 - Paris.  We began the day with continental breakfast at the hotel, which exceeded our expectations.  A brisk morning walk followed, during which we observed the neighborhood's morning routine, including Parisians community to work and dropping off children at school.   The plan for the rest of the day includes a vintage car tour of Paris and a trip to the catacombs.
